SHELLEY BUCKNER

FOUNDER & CREATIVE DIRECTOR

Shelley Buckner studied film production at Loyola Marymount University and graduated with a B.A. In Film/TV Production. Following graduation, she worked in entertainment PR learning the ins and outs of traditional public relations. She became a digital content editor for a tech media company followed by social media director at one of the largest social media agencies in Los Angeles. There, she worked with large brands, local businesses as well as celebrity talent and artists.

In 2017, she founded Digital Whisperers where she has cultivated an exclusive team of talented social media & content whisperers. For the past year, she has helped influencers and brands such as Ashley Tisdale, Tyler Henry, Jessica Capshaw, Illuminate Cosmetics, and Anh Co Tran broaden their digital footprint.

Alexis Bayoud-Johnson began her career in the famed William Morris mailroom. She then spent years working in television and film development and production. She started at Endemol USA, was VP of Kevin Willamson’s production company Outerbanks Entertainment (Scream, Vampire Diaries) and then Director of Development at Dimension Films.

But, it was during her time at Cindy Crawford’s production company Crawdaddy Productions that Alexis became interested and saw the power of social media and digital marketing. She helped to manage Cindy’s social media and worked closely with her team at Guthy-Renker (Meaningful Beauty.) She currently serves as an account director at Digital Whisperers and works closely with Shelley on every account.
